For valuable artwork, photographs and the like, protection from the harsh Australian sun is vital in preventing fading, colour loss and aging. Plexiglas Gallery^® offers exceptional UV protection without detracting from the beauty of the piece.

In addition to almost 100% UV protection, Plexiglas Gallery^® is extremely lightweight. In fact it has half the weight of the same sized piece of glass with 11 times more break resistance.

It comes in 2 varieties – all offering the same great UV protection:

• General purpose (Gallery UV100)
• Anti-reflective which has a matte finish on one side to reduce reflection and glare (Gallery AR)

Recommendation

Plexiglas Gallery is recommended over conventional picture glazing for a number of reasons.

• Conventional glazing offers little UV protection, resulting in faded pictures.
• glazing poses a risk of injury through glass breakage.
• glazing involves higher transportation costs due to higher weight and breakage risks.
